PENNINGVAC-Transmitters PTR are active sensors （pressure to voltage converters） with old cathode sensors based on the principle of the inverted Penning. Here the pressure is measured through a gas discharge within a gauge head whereby the gas discharge is ignited by applying a high tension. The resulting ion current is output as a signal which is proportional to the prevailing pressure. These sensors offer a wide measurement range of 10-9 to 10-2mbar （0.75·10-9 to 0.75·10-2 Torr）.

萊寶真空計(jì)（Vacuum Gauge），又稱規(guī)，是測(cè)量真空度或氣壓的儀器。一般是利用不同氣壓下氣體的某種物理效應(yīng)的變化進(jìn)行氣壓的測(cè)量。在科研和工業(yè)生產(chǎn)中廣泛使用。
按照真空計(jì)測(cè)量原理所利用的不同的物理機(jī)制，可將主要的真空計(jì)分為三大類，分別是利用力學(xué)性能、利用氣體動(dòng)力學(xué)效應(yīng)和利用帶電粒子效應(yīng)的真空計(jì)。
利用力學(xué)性能的真空計(jì)典型的有波爾登規(guī)（Bourdon）和薄膜電容規(guī)；利用氣體動(dòng)力學(xué)效應(yīng)的典型真空計(jì)有皮拉尼（Pirani）電阻規(guī)和熱電偶規(guī)；利用帶電粒子效應(yīng)的典型真空計(jì)有熱陰極電離規(guī)和冷陰極電離規(guī)。
