The multifunctional Marshall compactor is a testing instrument for asphalt mixtures. It is an instrument for forming samples in the Marshall stability test of asphalt mixtures. Its structure and performance fully meet the requirements of highway test regulations. The multifunctional Marshall compactor has the characteristics of small size, convenient operation, reliable work, can realize automatic technology, automatic compaction, automatic shutdown, and can suspend operation during work. Suitable for laboratory work and field operations.
① Weigh the mixed asphalt mixture evenly to the amount required for a test piece (about 1200g / 4050g). When the density of the asphalt mixture is known, it can be calculated according to the standard size of the test piece and multiplied by 1.03 to obtain the required mixture. Material quantity.
② During the production of the test piece, in order to prevent the temperature of the mixture from falling, it should be placed in an oven to keep heat. Remove the pre-heated test mold and sleeve from the oven and apply a little yellow
Oil cotton wipes the sleeve, the base and the bottom of the compaction hammer, installs the test mold on the base, pads a piece of circular oil-absorbing paper, and shovels the mixture with a spatula from four directions according to the quarter method In the human test mold, use a knife or a large screwdriver to insert 15 times along the periphery and 10 times in the middle. After plugging, flatten the surface of the asphalt mixture into a convex arc surface. For large Marshall test pieces, the mixture is added in two portions, and the number of times of each plug is the same as above.
③ Insert the thermometer to the vicinity of the mixture and check the temperature of the mixture.
④ After the temperature of the mixture meets the required compaction temperature, place the test mold together with the base on the compaction table and fix it. Place a sheet of oil-absorptive round paper on the assembled mixture and compact it with compaction. The compaction head of the hammer and the guide rod is inserted into the test mold, and the compactor is turned on to start the experiment.
Multi-functional Marshall compactor experiment process (operate as shown in the figure below) Before the test, connect the three-phase 380V power supply, and check whether the input aviation plug is firmly connected to the working output aviation plug, and then turn on the power <20 >. The display shows "Day and Day." According to the required number of hammer strokes, press the counter <19> to set it. Lower the stamper unit <7> to compact the test cylinder, and then release the hammer seat <1>
Make the guide rod fall, touch the hand to jog <18> to observe the transmission wheel, forward and reverse. (Note: Pick the hammer block <4> to run counterclockwise for forward rotation; otherwise, change the power cord and replace any two of them. After everything is normal, press "Start"
<17>, the compactor starts to work). When the test piece is compacted on one side, remove the sleeve and turn the test mold, then compact the other side in the same manner and number of times.
Immediately after the compaction of the test piece, remove the upper and lower paper with tweezers, use a caliper to measure the height of the test piece from the upper mouth of the test mold, and calculate the height of the test piece from this. Adjust the mix quality of the test piece according to the following type to ensure that the height meets the requirements of 95.3mm ± 2.5mm / 63.5mm ± 1.3mm.
After removing the test cylinder and the base, place the test mold containing the test piece in a horizontal position and cool it down to room temperature (not less than 12 hours) on a mold release machine.
After the multifunctional Marshall compactor is finished, clean up the test model for the next experiment. Wipe the instrument clean and lubricate it on the guide hammer driving wheel. Disconnect the power from the distribution box and turn off the power switch.
Common faults and troubleshooting of multifunctional Marshall compactor:
1. Do not lift the hammer during work or release the hammer during the lifting process. Check whether the transmission chain is loose. If it is loose, you can adjust the adjustment bolts on the back. If the shrapnel on the hammer is damaged, it needs to be replaced. If the pick block and put key are worn too much.
2. The digital display on the display screen is abnormal or not counting. Check if the proximity switch at the upper drive wheel is loose or too close.
3. After the power switch is turned on, the entire display is not displayed. Check whether the power supply is normal or the fuse is blown after the power distribution box.
4. In the process of lifting the hammer, it cannot be lifted together with the guide rod. Is the chain too loose, is there a lack of lubricant or too much dirt on the guide bar
