單球橡膠膨脹節(jié)一般是由兩端帶橡膠凸緣的光滑波形補(bǔ)償元件與金屬法蘭組成。金屬法蘭常采用活套式的，波形補(bǔ)償元件的表面為橡膠，內(nèi)層為數(shù)層強(qiáng)力纖維或鋼帶（絲）加強(qiáng)的夾層。在制作過程中，可用輪胎簾布作為加強(qiáng)層，加強(qiáng)纖維或鋼帶（絲）等加強(qiáng)夾層一直延伸到兩端橡膠凸緣，凸緣內(nèi)有硬鋼絲骨架。波形內(nèi)壓波紋管內(nèi)外表面必須光滑。
