來自于奧地利的貝加萊（B&R）工業(yè)自動化公司便是敏銳地捕捉到這一技術(shù)需求的變化，早在1994年便在*個推出了基于定性實時多任務(wù)操作系統(tǒng)(RealTimemulti-taskingOperat*tem)的可編程計算機(jī)控制器（PCC—ProgrammableComputerController），時至今日，仍然代表了這一創(chuàng)新技術(shù)的發(fā)展趨勢，成為新一代自控工程師的新寵。我們知道，常規(guī)的PLC大多依賴于單任務(wù)的時鐘掃描或監(jiān)控程序，來處理程序本身的邏輯運算指令以及外部的I/O通道的狀態(tài)采集與刷新，整個應(yīng)用程序采用一個循環(huán)周期，但事實上在一個控制系統(tǒng)中，雖然往往有一些數(shù)據(jù)量是實時性要求很高的，但也有很多大慣性的模擬量是沒有太高實時要求的，如果采用同樣的刷新速度其實是對資源的浪費，而且循環(huán)順序掃描的運行機(jī)制也直接導(dǎo)致了系統(tǒng)的控制速度嚴(yán)重依賴于應(yīng)用程序的大小，應(yīng)用程序一旦復(fù)雜龐大，控制速度就必然降低。這無疑是與I/O通道高實時性控制的要求相違背的。
