PN-SCTF short span compression tester is a paper and cardboard short span compressive strength testing instrument designed and developed by our company in accordance with the latest national standard GB/T 2679.10. It is suitable for the manufacture of paper and cardboard for cartons and boxs. Short span compression refers to the maximum compressive force per unit width that paper and cardboard samples begin to break, expressed in kN/m; short span compression index refers to short span compression strength divided by the quantitative, expressed in N.m/g. The test principle is: a 15mm wide specimen is compressed between two clamps 0.7mm apart until failure, the maximum short span compression force is measured, and the short span compression strength is calculated. Short span compression is the latest international method for evaluating the strength of base paper. It gradually replaces the ring compression strength RCT. The short span compression force is used to predict the compressive strength of the carton.
This instrument is an electromechanical integration product. It adopts modern mechanical design concepts and ergonomic design principles, and uses advanced high-speed ARM processors to make it carefully and reasonably. The instrument has the functions of parameter testing, display, memory, and printing included in the standard. With data processing function, it can directly get the statistical results of various data, and can automatically reset, communicate with the host computer, convenient operation, easy adjustment and stable performance.
